The first inspection reports covering all aspects of children’s services have been published by Ofsted. Reviews for Bournemouth, Enfield, Hertfordshire, Slough and the Wirral examine how each has performed on Every Child Matters legislation. This requires that the under-19s are healthy, safe, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution, and on course to achieve economic well-being. Only Bournemouth and Slough were rated good in all five areas.
