The Advisory Unit at Computers in Education has produced Aegis 2, a powerful information software package for use with the Archimedes.
Aimed at upper primary and secondary pupils, it features a wide range of world maps, with regionalised maps for the UK, Europe and other areas, which can be used to display a range of data, such as population densities or land use. Schools can also input their own data such as local information from field work or even draw their own maps.
Prices start at Pounds 100 for a single user. Details: The Advisory Unit, Computers in Education, 126 Great North Road, Hatfield, Herts AL9 5JZ, tel: 01707 266714.
