Like David Melville, I too am fed up with the constant publicity about Bilston Community College in the local and national press.
The inference from the Further Education Funding Council is always that something underhand, illegal or suspect was going on. This is presumably why such a long and expensive investigation is taking place.
The only way to end all this is to either produce a statement unequivocaly clearing Bilston staff or to make public the police and forensic audit findings and to produce the evidence.
This protracted investigation needs to be concluded and with it the related public expenditure.
The figures suggest that neither the best interests of the students of Wolverhampton have been served nor the public purse protected.
