The Music for Youth National Festival is on the horizon. From Monday, July 1, 10,500 young people will take over three concert halls in London’s South Bank until Saturday, July 6.
Take a break and listen, free, to non-stop music-making in the Royal Festival Hall foyer and on the concourse overlooking the River Thames.
The jamboree will include three days of seminars and workshops for music teachers: Singposium, a singing, conducting and choral day for all those working with young singers; a Rock and Pop day; and Trinity 1 to 5, a conference on creative music-making for under-fives organised by Trinity College of Music.
