We were coming back on the bus from our weekly swimming session when I became involved in a conversation with one of our less communicative Year 4 pupils. “Do you work Mr Brooks?” He repeated the question, adding: “My Granddad goes out to work. Where do you go?” I presume he believes that we all look after him for the day, feeding and entertaining him, until he goes home. Then we must all go out to work in the evening.
