A mixed class of Reception and Year 1 children are sharing reading during a literacy hour. Josh (Year 1) has switched off - in fact, he looks as if he is about to fall asleep.
“So, Josh, what do you do when you come to a full stop?” A little startled, he thinks for a moment: “Er - you get off.”
