Space study

Pupils explored the final frontier this week, during a one-day event focusing on space and black holes.

Since February, 350 secondary pupils from 40 schools have been studying black holes that swallow and destroy stars. This week, they gathered at the Royal Institution, in London, to discuss their discoveries. They also studied space observations transmitted to them live from the Faulkes telescope, in Hawaii.
