Each year, The TES and the National Assocation for Special Educational Needs (Nasen) present the Special Educational Needs Book Awards. The awards, in their 16th year, reward excellence in SEN-related publishing, writes Stephen Manning.

There are five categories for books and two for resources. The winners will be unveiled in The TES Magazine on October 17, to coincide with the Special Needs London conference, sponsored by Nasen and The TES on October 17 and 18. See www.teachingexhibitions.co.uk
