The winners of the Special Educational Needs Book Awards for 2000 will be announced by author Anne Fine at Special Needs London on November 2. The awards are presented by The Educational Publishers Council and the National Association for Special Educational Needs, with the support of The Times Educational Supplement.

The awards were established in 1992 to encourage the development of high quality books for children and their teachers.
