John Bercow, Tory MP, will head a review into services for children with speech and language difficulties. At its launch, Ed Balls, schools minister, said: “We have to do more so all children get support from the therapists they need and so that local authorities, schools and specialist services work more closely together.” Mr Bercow will report back by summer 2008.
