Junior pupils from Ysgol Belmont in Buckley and Maes Glas in Greenfield attended workshops aimed at making them good spies at Theatr Clwyd Cymru in Mold last week, led by tutors in disguise. The Flintshire pupils were asked to crack codes and unlock “secret missions” during an undercover operation by the former Assembly government and Basic Skills Agency to encourage more children to read as part of the Read a Million Words Campaign.
