Every now and then someone comes up with a project that finds all the angles - stimulating curriculum work that lends itself to online collaboration which can then be published on the net for other students and teachers to share. Tower Hamlets hit those buttons with its E-Dig Ancient Egypt, run by advisory teacher Marion Riley and modelled on a style of e-learning, a “webquest”, developed in the US. An extremely ambitious project carried out with the help of an expert at The British Museum, it stimulated work involving ICT across history and English. Watch out for a new Tower Hamlets projects on The Romans.
