Staff from the bottom-ranked school in the tables have complained after being given no marks because the date for sitting tests was changed.

Chesterton primary in Wandsworth, south London, moved the test date because it clashed with a visit by actors from the English Shakespeare Company. The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority responded by cancelling the school’s marks - even though its pupils achieved a cumulative score of 182 percentage points.
