Pupils today act out TV programmes such as the Jeremy Kyle Show and Britain’s Got Talent in the playground, according to new research which claims that children’s games are thriving. Academics from the Institute of Education, the University of East London and the University of Sheffield, found that pupils are aping TV shows and computer games. They also emulate pop stars such as Beyonce.
