Stars plead for more teachers

The Prime Minister was urged this week to work with world leaders to ensure every child gets an education. Pupils from around the country, joined by pop group McFly, delivered cut-out teachers to Downing Street, each symbolising a real teacher needed by a child. Tom Fletcher, from McFly, said: “Many kids in the developing world struggle in classes of more than 100. These are the lucky ones; over 100 million children are still robbed of their right to an education. ”
