‘Teacher to Teacher’ Your forum for practical tips and ideas.

We attained specialised art college status last September and decided to celebrate the launch with an inclusive display of pupils’ work and expertise across the curriculum. The art department used teaching time and after-school sessions to paint and produce banners for adorning the main corridor and two stairwells. There were group and individual efforts from Year 13 A-level art students to Year 7 work on display. It was a sharing activity that everybody contributed towards and developed, extending the art curriculum and enhancing it even beyond our own expectations.
