Two secondary pupils and their teacher will be able to travel to a developing country as part of a scheme set up in memory of Steve Sinnott, the general secretary of the National Union of Teachers who died earlier this year. The Global Campaign for Education, which will run the award, said it was looking for a school that could show it had already been involved in campaigning for global education. The pupils and teacher will report back on barriers to education in the country they visit. The closing date is November 14.
