NEARLY half of deaf children may also have vision problems, according to a new study published yesterday.

The eight-year study looked at 108 deaf children in south Derbyshire. The results were presented at a Nottingham conference organised by Sense, the charity working with deaf and blind people, and the National Deaf Children’s Society.
