How long have you subscribed?

Around 40 years - didn’t think TESS or I had been around that long!

Why did you start?

It was the key read for understanding Scottish education.

What do you read first?

Any piece that’s maligning me! Then skim for key issues of the day.

What should there be more of in TESS?

There’s a good balance just now.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

Again, it does pretty well. Pieces by international big hitters would be good.

What’s the best thing we’ve done?

Revamped to the current format.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?

“Pigs do fly - UK government backs down on teacher pensions.”
