Why did you start subscribing?

Like Irn Bru and potato scones, my dad introduced me. He has written for TESS and used to ask me to read his pieces.

What do you read first?

After the jobs, always In My Own Time.

What should there be more of in TESS?

I would like to see more stories about integrated learning.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

Tom Devine on Scottish studies, then maybe the public would see it as more than a political issue - it’s to do with our national heritage.

What’s the best thing we have done?

Given ordinary teachers like me a chance to contribute.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?

“Pupils love the new Scottish studies” or success stories from the Studying Scotland online resource.
