How long have you subscribed?

27 years

Why did you start?

I always fancied teaching overseas - TES had job ads.

What do you read first?

The editorial, then opinion.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

Teachers at all stages of their career. Scotland has some excellent practice.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?

“Government promises to reduce new initiatives.”

What should there be more of?

International. I was fortunate to go to Japan some years ago, where I had time to observe the best of Japanese education and reflect on Scottish education.

What’s the best thing we’ve done?

I love the new format - easy to handle and to find articles from the index.

What is TESS?

Good CPD for teachers.
