What do you do?

Part-time supply teacher for Aberdeenshire Council and Open University maths student.

Why did you start subscribing?

So I could read it at my leisure rather than fighting for the library copy.

What do you read first?

Morris Simpson, Gregor Steele and the letters page.

What should there be more of in TESS?

International features.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

Would it be wrong to say “me”? Failing that, more practising teachers.

What’s the best thing we’ve done?

The magazine format is more user-friendly and can be operated with one hand while the other holds a mug of coffee.

What would you like to see on the front page?

“Shameful treatment of supply teachers to end.”

What is TESS?

An invaluable part of my weekends.
