There were five quotes, all positive, and four of them specifically reflected the “enthusiasm and commitment” of the staff and student mentors as well as the appreciation of some of the youngsters.
Tommy Sheridan’s contribution was a highlight of that particular day, and his reported comments were also supportive and complimentary of both the efforts of the teachers and the value of the academy. I should point out that some very senior members of the university staff, and at least one teacher “superstar” felt that the article was fair and representative.
