There could be a lot of sunflowers in schools this summer. From March to the end of the summer term, primary schools can compete to grow the tallest sunflower while raising sponsorship money for themselves and Action for Blind People. On joining Sunflower Power they receive free national curriculum-linked lesson plans, as well as materials on the themes of sunflowers and visual impairment.
