The National Centre for Language and Literacy is based on the Bulmershe campus of the University of Reading. It supports teachers, literacy co-ordinators, librarians and parents with language and literacy learning.

Its website includes searchable databases of its resources and recommended books, and it can put schools in touch with authors and illustrators who specialise in school visits. You can get membership to use the subscription area of the site, and there is a catalogue of NCLL publications that you can order online. There are also details of NCLL research, courses and conferences.
