Penyrheol Comprehensive School in Swansea has won the Mock Trial Competition UK final in Leeds Magistrates’ Court. The 14-strong team of Year 8 and 9 pupils played out a real-life trial on two cases involving harassment and drink-driving. As well as a shield, the team won pound;500 worth of resources, much needed after books and computer equipment were fire-damaged after an arson attack two years ago.
