Take -up on vocational courses has doubled

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/take-vocational-courses-has-doubled
(Photograph) - It is true to say that the numbers of students at this college taking general national vocational courses has more than doubled in three years, but not yet true to say that the numbers have risen from 142 to 750 (TES, October 14).

The number of students taking GNVQs at foundation, intermediate and advanced levels this academic - and vocational - year is 350.

I think it will be a long time before they reach 750, and hope that by that time we shall not be comparing GNVQ with A-level numbers, because that will not longer be relevant.
