Talk and actions problem

Good to know we are developing a situated approach, understanding the processes of strategising, and most of all recognising that human resources can be not just up-skilled but up-knowledged.

Consider the contextualising strategy and performance activity in the learning and skills sector.

But then performance can be objective and hyper-rational. We have to understand the impact of credentialised learning.

This strange new language comes from research produced for the first annual conference of the Centre for Excellence in Leadership, held this week.

It also said that colleges must acknowledge that potential policy inconsistencies and disparities create "disconnect" between talk, decisions and actions.

Furthermore competency frameworks based on current top leaderbehaviour could create a danger of replicating existing leadership concepts which might lead to less diversity in future leaders than desired. The Plain English Society has been informed.
