Colleges’ Employers’ Forum leaders have warned principals and governors that they face legal challenges and possible disruption to redundancy plans if they fail to consult recognised trade unions on plans to end fixed-term contracts this autumn.
CEF chief executive Roger Ward said: “This consultation will not, however, confer general recognition rights to the union.”
