The 48 16 to 19-year-olds scaled the masts as a finale to an eight-day voyage from Barry, Wales, to the continent and back to London. The voyage was run by the Tall Ships Youth Trust charity and sponsored by the HSBC bank. The charity builds youngsters’ personal skills through its sailing trips
