YOUR article points out that 370,000 children are disappointed that a giant tapestry, to which they have contributed, is not being displayed in the Dome (TES, June 2).

We were contacted two years ago by the Millennium Tapestry Company and asked to display the tapestry in the Dome. However, we explainedthat we could not accede to their request.

But in January we asked for a CD-Rom of the work to display the tapestry in virtual form. To date, we have received nothing.
