Two memorial services will be held next month for Professor Ted Wragg, the teachers’ champion and TES columnist who died suddenly on November 10.

The first will be held by his family at Exeter Cathedral on February 4 at 11am with contributions from Professor Steve Smith, vice chancellor of Exeter university; Dame Estelle Morris; Professor Richard Pring; Chris Wragg, his son, and Harry Williams, his grandson. All are welcome and no ticket is required.

The second event will be held at London university’s institute of education on February 15 at 6pm. Speakers will include Neil Kinnock, Rory Bremner, Lord Puttnam, Fred Jarvis and Tim Brighouse.
