Nearly half of pupils think they deserve more respect from adults, a survey has found. Fourteen to 16-year-olds were most likely to say they were not given enough say in decisions that affect their lives, the survey of 2,129 11 to 16-year-olds found.
Sir Al Aynsley-Green, the children’s commissioner, who released the survey, has launched a campaign called “Shout! Turn up the volume”, which will give children the chance to drive the commissioner’s work.
