The Scottish Schools’ Lawn Tennis Association is embarking on a drive to increase the number of affiliated schools. There are currently 114 primary and secondary schools affiliated to the SSLTA but more than 100 schools previously affiliated have lapsed.

The SSLTA wants to woo those schools back and is offering an incentives package of regular newsletters and magazines and ticket offers to major events, such as Wimbledon and Davis Cup matches. The annual affiliation fees are pound;27 for secondary schools and pound;13 for primaries.
