101 verbs a day

30th June 2006 at 01:00
Each little book in the "Learn 101 Verbs in a Day" series focuses on one language and the same verbs appear on equivalent pages, combined with humorous pictures that display the word itself teasingly concealed within the image. Tenses are colour-coded, so you can move with understanding between languages. The website provides accurate pronunciation from native speakers. The books include minority languages (Catalan, with Scots Gaelic and Jerriais soon to appear). Schools pay just pound;2.87 per book postage (normal price Pounds 6.99).
