A bit under par

Nigel de Gruchy has been getting himself into trouble of late. Taking a short holiday with his wife in Portugal, the retiring NASUWT supremo managed to slip a disc in his back - but not on the golf course (Nigel ikes nothing better than a round or two). Rather, he says, it was a bout of violent vomiting caused by a virulent stomach bug at the union's Birmingham HQ that resulted in the vertebrae reverberation.
