A call for assistants

Teaching assistants are being given an increasingly important role in schools, so publishers are moving to meet the new demands.

Among these is David Fulton Publishers, which has released ICT for Teaching Assistants (pound;15) by John Galloway. The author a practitioner with his feet firmly in the classroom - in Tower Hamlets, London, where he is an adviser. This is a down-to-earth, helpful product that meets NOS and NVQ level 3 standards.
