A fitting tribute;Letter

How serendipitous that your American correspondent should have filed his feature on the US company hoping to run our state schools for profit within Education Action Zones, inevitably by worsening teachers' already poor conditions of service, from a location in California named Chula Vista.

As any English-speaking Madrilenoa will readily testify, a standard peninsular Spanish meaning of this place-name is "Spiv view".
