A grand reward for record grades

AN anonymous benefactor is offering a pound;1,000 award to the pupil who can beat the record for GCSE grades at a Leicester comprehensive school. A businesswoman came forward after hearng an appeal from Babington community college for sponsorship for the prize. The record is held by Michael Angrave, who last year achieved two A*s, five As and five Bs.
