A model way to grab interest

A show designed to promote engineering through model-making hopes it will prove inspirational for schoolchildren.

The London Model Engineering Exhibition will give children the chance to build and fly their own aircraft and ask experts questions about a steam model railway.

The UK Rocketry Association will also be at the show, as will the UK Tank Club, which will be giving youngsters the chance to drive a model tank.

The show is taking place from January 19 to 21 at Alexandra Palace, London.

Discounts are available for school parties by quoting TESLMEE07 at the box office.
