A new museum on the history of radar
Radar signals were first transmitted from the block through the 300-foot tower on what was a Ministry of Defence estate and is now an international school for students studying English.
Estate manager, John Toettcher said that it was hoped soon to open the museum every weekend. How soon would depend on the work of the volunteers many personnel connected with the Second World War research at Bawdsey who are assembling the museum's growing collection of radar apparatus.
