A real stodter;Jotter

The current round of public consultation about proposed closures and amalgamations in Aberdeen is not without its moments.

Tension mounted at the start of a packed meeting at Hazlehead Primary where angry parents from Walker Dam Nursery Infant were out to gub those responsible for the proposed demise of their school.

Thunderous applause after the first tough question for director John Stodter turned to silence as the follow-up began: "I have also thoroughly researched the background of the director and I have to tell you he is .... a secondary teacher."

Case for the prosecution closed.
