Thousands of chefs and cooks will be on standby to teach pupils about food, the benefits of healthy eating and how to cook, throughout British Food Fortnight, which runs from September 22 to October 7.

Restaurants and organisations representing more than 9,000 chefs have been sent information about running events with local schools. For details on how you can participate, resources, and a competition to win top of the range Kenwood cooking equipment for your school, visit www.britishfoodfortnight.co.uk.
