A visitor centre at one of Scotland's most famous highland landmarks was officially opened in July. Urquhart Castle, on the banks of Loch Ness, offers an exhibition looking at life in a medieval fortification, artefacts discovered during archeological digs and a video exploring the history of the castle and its location.
