Academic honoured

A leading Welsh academic has been awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours. Professor Ken Reid, former deputy vice-chancellor of Swansea Metropolitan University, was honoured for his services to education. Professor Reid, who recently helped judge the TES Schools Awards, chaired the groundbreaking National Behaviour and Attendance Review for the Assembly government.
