Ads discriminate;Letter

I HAVE been appalled to see a spate of adverts for jobs at the independent school Brighton College, the most recent of which impose an age range of 25-35 for head of drama and 28-40 for the deputy head post.

To advertise in such a blatantly discriminatory way goes against all sensible thinking.

What messages does this sort of attitude send out to the boys and girls at Brighton College who are being taught in an environment where to be over 40 is clearly to be past it?
