Adult stammerers bullied when young;In brief

MOST adults with stammers were bullied as children, according to new research by psychologists. Researchers from Leeds University and Goldsmiths College, London, found 83 per cent of 276 adult stammerers had been bullied at school, with 71 per cent claiming they faced abuse at least once a week.
