Hawick's Burnfoot Primary won the Claymores Bowl II - Scotland's national American Flag Football competition - with a 46-39 victory over Craigmount High (Edinburgh) in the final at Meadowbank.

Burnfoot - who played under the banner Burnfoot Dragons - will now represent Scotlnd for the British title against the English champions (yet to be determined) before the Scottish Claymores' home game with Berlin Thunder in the NFL Europe League at Hampden on May 6. The winners will, in turn, play off for the European title in Amsterdam on June 30.
