He might not like it but we would like to commend Paul Jowitt, a Heriot-Watt University professor on sustainable development - yes, he just goes on and on.

In a report for the Scottish Funding Council on said subject, Jowitt writes: "A holistic approach needs to be adopted which sees the intellectual capital, the human and social capital, the capital represented by the whole estate, its use of resources and the institution's finances as an interactive system which supports the overall FEHE mission."

Couldn't agree more.
