Annual adventure

11th February 2005 at 00:00
Schools are invited to compete in a national outdoor adventure tournament when the annual Kielder Challenge kicks off in April. Run by the Fieldfare Trust, it is open to 13 to 16-year-old pupils. Teams of eight are needed - four members with disabilities, and four without. Heats take place in April and May, when 200 competing teams will be whittled down to 12 for the grand final at Kielder Forest, Northumberland, in September.
